I have this mostly unendearing habit of looking for the predecessor to media creations — movies, music, books.
Said habit leads me to this statement, which is meant neither as a compliment nor an insult: Florence and the Machine are basically the new Cranberries.
Right?
I found out today that my coworkers have been keeping a document of ridiculous things I’ve said at work. They even tried to start a “shitshansays” blog but apparently the name was already taken. I’m strangely flattered.
Today’s ridiculous thing was “Sleep is for sleeping. Dreams are for real life.” Amen.
